Crossberry

In addition to being edible, the plant has many medicinal properties in traditional African culture.

Crossberry has beautiful, pink, star-shaped flowers and distinctive cruciform, red fruits.

The leaves are eaten by cattle, goats, and wild animals such as rhinoceroses, giraffes, and antelopes. The fruits are also edible.

Crossberry is used in Africa as a medicinal plant in the treatment of sterility and impotence. The bark is also used to make shampoo which supposedly prevents the hair from graying.
