THE DATABASE
The Aarhus University Herbarium contains approx. 750.000 specimens from over 160 different countries around the world.
More than 150.000 are digitized and can be found in the AAU Herbarium Database. Collections from Ecuador, Thailand, and Western Africa are especially well represented and most collection made by Aarhus University staff can be found. The Aarhus University Herbarium contains 1770 type specimens, which all can be found in the database.
