Many-flowered jasmine

There are around 200 species of jasmine (Jasminum), several of which are cultivated as houseplants and greenhouse plants.

Many-flowered jasmine (Jasminum polyanthum) is one of the most commonly cultivated species. It is native to southern China and Myanmar.

Many-flowered jasmine is often grown on trellises or arches as a potted plant in homes and conservatories. It is a fast-growing, evergreen climber that can reach up to 6 m in length. The plant is especially valued for its numerous, highly fragrant flowers, which develop from pink buds and open into white, star-shaped blooms in late winter and spring. 

The flowers release a strong, sweet fragrance that can fill an entire room. Its glossy, dark green leaves also make it an attractive ornamental plant throughout the year.
