The narrow leaf century plant forms dense rosettes with hundreds of narrow, stiff leaves, each ending in a sharp, brownish thorn. Beware of poking yourself on the spines – especially mind your eyes!

TThe plant grows in dry, rocky areas and is very hardy. It is easy to cultivate; however, it does not tolerate frost.
