Red-bark oak is an Asian relative of our danish oaks. It can become a big tree, up to 30 m heigh and 3 m in diameter. 

While the danish oaks lose their leaves in the fall, red bark oak keeps its leaves all year round, like many other species of oak in tropical mountain forests.
