Triangle Palm
Due to intensive deforestation in Madagascar, fewer than 1,000 wild individuals of the palm remain.
This palm is grown all over the world due to its unusual appearance. The leaves sit in three distinct rows so that the upper part of the palm is triangular in cross section.
It is native to the rain forests of Madagascar, which due to deforestation are one of the most endangered ecosystems in the world. It is estimated that there are less than 1000 triangle palms remaining in the wild.
