White paint brush
A hardy and traditional bulbous plant.
White paint brush is a bulbous plant native to the cool, shady areas of southeastern South Africa.
As a houseplant it is a typical "grandmother plant", i.e. a traditional house plant that was previously found in many homes. It is hardy and survives almost any treatment except too much watering.
The plant blooms willingly if kept in a cool place during winter - just like in South Africa or in a grandmother's window before central heating was installed.
