We are very happy about the popularity of the presentations. However, it also means that the spring season is now fully booked, and we have closed for further booking this season.
It is possible to book a group presentation for next season. Call 8715 5415 (Tuesday-Friday, 10:00-14:00), or email at sm@au.dk.
Associations and private groups
If you are part of an association or a private group seeking a unique experience focused on astronomy, you can book a closed presentation at the Ole Rømer Observatory. The presentation will be exclusive to your group, and the communication is tailored to your preferences and needs.
The presentation lasts 1½ hours, and there is a participant limit of 25 people.

Please note! All closed presentations must be booked at least two months in advance. Cancellations later than three weekdays before the scheduled visit will incur a fee of DKK 500.
Opening hours (only weeknights):
- September: 21:00
- October: 19:00 and 21:00
- November, December, January, and February: 18:00 and 20:00
- March: 19.00 and 21:00
- April: 21:00
Please be aware that the early presentations are reserved for children's groups.

- Children's groups (under 18 years): DKK 750
- Adult groups: DKK 2,000
Nice to know
Access to the Ole Rømer Observatory is granted approximately 15 minutes before the scheduled presentation. Please note that doors will close at the start time, and entry is not permitted thereafter.
Presentations will take place regardless of the weather. If clouds cover the starry sky, we will instead explore the nooks and crannies of the observatory and tell astronomy stories about life in the Universe, current space journeys, or the observatory's history, while showing beautiful images from the large space telescopes.
Feel free to bring astronomy questions for the presenter and warm clothing - it's not fun to look at stars if you're freezing. It is possible to buy coffee, tea, or cocoa from the vending machine, but food should be left at home.
Tickets (tours only in Danish)
It is possible to purchase tickets to a star gazing tour at the observatory, but please be aware that these tours are only in Danish.
Ticket prices: DKK 70 for adults, DKK 30 for children (under 18 years). Registration is necessary.
