Chameleon plant is cultivated as an ornamental plant and as ground cover. It is used in salads and as a medicinal plant.
In Nepal, the juice from the roots is used in treatment of wounds and skin diseases. In traditional Chinese medicine, the stalks and leaves are used in the treatment of respiratory infections, urinary tract inflammations, skin infections and wounds.
