Former exhibition. Is now closed.
The exhibition is about the positive effects of modern technology. Contraception has minimalized the fear of unwanted pregnancy and artificial insemination has given hope to childless couples to have children. The exhibition also deals with questions brought up by new technology – for instance, who has the right to receive artificial insemination? Do we want to know if we are carrying certain genetic diseases? Should human cloning be permitted?
In the exhibition, you can crawl into a big soft uterus, you can listen to a condom vending machine telling stories and both sexes can try out how it feels to be pregnant by trying on a pregnant belly. The exhibition also features cartoons on cloning and a stuffed cloned pig.
