Make this autumn holiday an unforgettable experience for the entire family at the Steno Museum, where exciting science and fun activities go hand in hand! This half-term, we’re focusing on the gases that surround us in everyday life.
"Let the fart loose" and follow its journey through the digestive system. "Find the CO2 balance" and explore what the right amount of CO2 in the atmosphere should be. Pop on a lab coat in the SelfieLab. Investigate giant farts and discover what climate gases can transform into.
Come along – entry is free for everyone under 18, so the whole family can enjoy a (hopefully!) odour-free experience you won’t soon forget!
The Steno Museum during the October half-term: Saturday 12 October - Sunday 20 October, from 10:00-16:00 every day unless otherwise stated. Free for under 18s. Adults: 50 kr.
Planetarium shows at 11:00, 13:00 and 15:00. Price: 30 kr. when admission is paid. Recommended for ages 6 and up.
Compete to see what leaves the biggest CO2 footprint.
Let your imagination run wild. Can you store a cow fart? Can plants absorb CO2? Put on a white lab coat, take a deep breath, and get up close with the gases – if you dare!
Help the fart find its way out of the digestive system.
We need just the right amount of CO2 on Earth – not too much, not too little. How do we balance it?
Test the air you breathe out. Find out what it takes for plants to grow.
Learn more about what it takes to restore balance in nature through technology, and how science can help us make the world greener!
In collaboration with the Novo Nordisk Foundation CO2 Research Center (CORC).
Experience the autumn night sky in the Planetarium, no matter the weather – the stars are always shining here.
Shows at 11:00, 13:00 and 15:00. Price: 30 kr. when admission is paid.
